Group-I Services Direct Recruitment - 2007

(General)

            Applications are invited from  21/01/2008 on all working days upto 5 p.m. on  08/02/2008 from the desirous eligible candidates to the following category of posts under Direct Recruitment.

 

Note:  Vacancies are subject to variation on intimation being received from the Appointing Authority.

 

Educational Qualifications: For P.C.Nos. 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 07, 08: A Bachelor’s Degree from any recognised University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act, Provincial Act, a State Act or an Institution recognised by the U.G.C. or an equivalent qualification.

For P.C.No. 06: B.E.(Fire) Degree.  If not available, any degree.

 

Physical Requirements:

 

For Post Code No. 03:  1) Must be atleast 165 Cms. in height and atleast 81 Cms. round the Chest on full expiration, with a chest expansion of alteast 5 Cms. (as per Rule 4(c)(iii) of A.P. Excise Special Rules G.O.Ms.No. 108 GAD(Rules), dated: 25/01/1961.

For Post Code No. 05 & 06:  1) Must not be less than 167.6 Cms. in height and must be not less than 86.3 Cms. round the Chest on full inspiration and has a Chest expansion of not less than 5 Cms. on full inspiration (as per G.O.Ms.No. 137; Home (Police-E); dated: 01/06/1998).

For S.T.:  Not be less than 164 Cms. in height and must be not less than 83.8 Cms. round the Chest with a minimum expansion of not less than 5 Cms. on full inspiration.

For Women:  Not less than 152.5 Cms in height and not less than 45.5 Kgs in weight.

For P.C.No. 09: A Degree in Commerce OR Economics OR Mathematics recognised by the U.G.C. with at least second class in the subject.

N.B.:  The Applicant should also satisfy a competent Medical Board as to their fitness, physique, vision etc., as provided for in the rules at the appropriate stage of the recruitment process.
